Pusoy has been part of every Filipino barkada night, family reunion, and rainy-day get-together for decades. At BigBaller, we've brought that same homegrown excitement online – same rules, real stakes, and payouts straight to your GCash. Tara na, laro na!
"Walang matigas na kamay sa BigBaller!"
If you grew up in the Philippines, chances are you played Pusoy before you ever heard the word "casino." It's one of those games that gets passed down – from lolo to the kids, from barkada to barkada. The rules become second nature, and the thrill of landing a straight flush or beating a full house never really gets old.
At BigBaller, we wanted to honour that tradition while giving it a proper online home. Our Pusoy tables stay faithful to the rules Filipinos grew up with – 13 cards, three hands (front, middle, back), and the satisfaction of a well-set arrangement that beats the table. What's different is that now you can play against real opponents from Luzon to Mindanao, any hour of the day.
Whether you play Pusoy Dos, standard Pusoy, or the faster Pusoy2variant popular in Metro Manila, BigBaller has a table that fits. The interface is clean and mobile-first, because honestly, most people are going to be playing on their phone during commute, on break, or after dinner – and we built for exactly that.
Get your hands straight before you sit down at the table. These rankings apply to your middle and back hands in standard Pusoy.
High Card
No matching cards, no sequence. Your hand is decided by the highest single card. In Pusoy, this is only useful for the front three-card hand.
One Pair
Two cards of the same rank. A classic starting point – common in most hands you'll be dealt. Higher pairs beat lower ones.
Two Pair
Two separate pairs in one hand. The stronger of the two pairs determines your rank against an opponent's two pair.
Three of a Kind
Three cards sharing the same rank. A solid hand for your front position, and reliable in the middle when paired well.
Straight
Five consecutive ranks, any suit. Ace can play high or low. A straight is where the game starts getting interesting – and competitive.
Flush
Five cards of the same suit, non-consecutive. When two flushes clash, the highest card in each decides the winner.
Full House
Three of a kind plus a pair. A strong back hand in most Pusoy sessions. The three-of-a-kind portion determines superiority between full houses.
Four of a Kind
Four cards of the same rank plus a kicker. Rare and powerful – landing this in your back hand almost guarantees a win for that position.
Straight Flush / Royal Flush
Five consecutive cards of the same suit. The royal flush (A-K-Q-J-10 suited) is the pinnacle – if you get this in your back hand, you're basically celebrating before the round ends. In BigBaller Pusoy, special bonuses apply to declared straight flushes.
If you've played Pusoy before, the online version will feel instantly familiar. If you're new to it, here's the quick rundown so you can jump in with confidence.
Join a Table and Set Your Buy-In
Choose a table that fits your budget. BigBaller Pusoy tables start at just ₱20 per game, so even a small wallet goes a long way during a session.
Receive Your 13 Cards
Each player is dealt 13 cards. Take a moment to evaluate your hand – look for pairs, sequences, and flush opportunities across all 13 cards before you start arranging.
Arrange Your Three Hands
Divide your cards into three hands: front (3 cards), middle (5 cards), and back (5 cards). The key rule: back must be stronger than middle, and middle must be stronger than front. Miset means an automatic loss for all positions.
Compare Hands with Opponents
All players reveal simultaneously. Each of your three hands competes against the corresponding hand of every other player at the table. Win two or three positions to take the round.
Collect Winings and Play Again
Winings are calculated based on how many positions you won across all opponents. BigBaller automatically tallies the results and credits your wallet instantly – no manual counting needed.
Not all Pusoy tables play the same way. BigBaller offers multiple variants so every type of player finds their home game.
| Variant | Players | Min. Buy-In | Special Rules | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Pusoy Classic | 2–4 | ₱20 | Standard hand arrangement rules | All players – most familiar format |
| Pusoy Dos | 4 | ₱50 | Played by turns, not simultaneous reveal | Players who prefer strategic pacing |
| Pusoy2 (Speed) | 2–4 | ₱30 | Timed arrangement –60 seconds per round | Fast players, barkada energy sessions |
| High Stakes Pusoy | 2–4 | ₱500 | Bonus multipliers for straight flush hands | Experienced players, VIP members |
There are other Pusoy apps out there – we know that. Here's what makes the BigBaller experience genuinely different for players across the Philippines.
Real Filipino Opponents, Real Stakes
No bots. No scripted hands. When you sit at BigBaller Pusoy table, you're playing against real people from Cebu, Davao, Pampanga, wherever. That's what makes each round feel genuine and unpredictable.
Optimised for Mobile Play
BigBaller's Pusoy interface was designed for smartphone screens first. Card sorting is intuitive with drag-and-drop, and everything is readable even on a smaller display. No pinching and zooming required.
Secure and Fair Gameplay
Card dealing on BigBaller uses a certified RNG system. Every shuffle is independent, every deal is random. No patterns, no manipulation – the same fairness you'd expect from a clean home game, scaled to thousands of concurrent tables.
In-Game Chat and Emotes
Part of what makes Pusoy fun is the banter. BigBaller's live chat and emote system lets you keep that social energy alive even when you're playing online. Celebrate a straight flush, console yourself after a miset – it's all there.
Weekly Pusoy Tournaments
BigBaller runs regular Pusoy tournaments with prize pools in PHP. These are open to all registered players – from casual players to seasoned regulars. The leaderboard updates live so you always know where you stand.
Pusoy rewards smart arrangement over lucky draws. These tips come from players who've spent serious hours at the table – take note before your next session at BigBaller.
Scan All13 Cards Before Arranging
Don't start sorting the moment cards land. Spend the first few seconds seeing the full picture – sequences, pairs, potential flushes. Rushing leads to weak arrangements you'll regret.
Build a Strong Back Hand First
The back hand scores the most points. Anchor it with your best five-card combination, then work backward to fill middle and front without misetting.
Never Misset – Even If It Costs You
A misset means you lose all three positions automatically, regardless of hand strength. An honest weaker arrangement beats a miset every single time.
Use the Front Hand Strategically
A strong front hand (high pair or three of a kind) lets you steal a position even when your middle and back are average. Don't waste face cards there unless they genuinely don't improve the others.
Learn the Table Tendencies
Regular BigBaller Pusoy players have patterns. If someone consistently plays aggressive back hands, strengthen your own back to match rather than letting them sweep three points per round.
Set a Session Limit Before You Start
Decide upfront how much you're comfortable losing and how long you'll play. Pusoy sessions can run long when the banter is good – a preset limit keeps the fun sustainable.
For many Filipinos, card games aren't just a pastime – they're a ritual. Pusoy, in particular, carries a sense of occasion. You don't just play Pusoy; you settle in with your barkada, put some snacks on the table, maybe have a cold drink nearby, and commit to a few hours of focused, competitive card play. It's that mix of strategy, luck, and social energy that makes it unlike any other game.
What BigBaller has done is recreate that atmosphere in a digital format without stripping away the things that make Pusoy special. The real opponents, the chat system, the competitive table structure – all of it is designed to keep the culture of the game alive even when you're playing on a phone at11PM from your bedroom in Quezon City or a café in Davao.
The bigballer platform also recognises that Filipino players value loyalty. That's why every Pusoy session you complete earns you VIP points that contribute to your tier progression. As you move up the VIP ladder, you unlock benefits that make a real difference: higher withdrawal limits, exclusive high-stakes Pusoy tables, dedicated support, and seasonal bonuses tied to Philippine holidays and festivals.
BigBaller also runs Pusoy-specific promotions throughout the year. During major holidays – Pasko, Holy Week, Flores de Mayo, the fiesta season – expect special tournament events with elevated prize pools. These aren't just cosmetic bonuses – they're real peso prize pools distributed to the top finishers on the leaderboard, making them worth entering seriously.
If you're a complete beginner to Pusoy, don't let the hand rankings or the three-hand structure intimidate you. BigBaller offers a free demo mode where you can practise arranging hands without spending any pesos. The tutorial is short and practical – you'll be ready for a real table within a session or two. The community here tends to be welcoming anyway, so don't be afraid to start at the low-stakes tables and work your way up.
Depositing and withdrawing at BigBaller is as easy as sending a GCash to a friend. All major Philippine payment channels are supported, with most payouts processed in under five minutes.
